Our Actions
The Innovation Center of Attica Region (I.C.A.R.) is the Regional Structure of Support for Research and Innovation (R&I), in accordance with the guidelines of the Regional Strategy of Smart Specialization (RIS3)
We Ensure
the monitoring and documentation of the development of Innovation Research activity in Attica, the monitoring of international practice and theory, benchmarking of R & D activities in the Attica Region, the emergence of good practices by commissioning studies and surveys.
We Create
and operate digital platforms and networks of Attica's stakeholders on research issues, technological development and innovation.
We Implement
networking and awareness-raising processes and actions, promotion and publicity actions to broaden the socio-economic impact of research and innovation infrastructures, actions to enhance regional business involvement in infrastructure, users’ education actions, etc.
We Plan
and implement (within cooperative networks) research and innovation projects and programs within the framework of the Operational Programmes of Partnership Agreement and HORIZON Programme.
We Organize
participatory planning actions such as thematic and regional technology foresight.
We Prepare
documented policy proposals in collaboration with researchers and stakeholders.
We Develop
an annual action plan in cooperation with the R&T organizations and the business community of Attica that are subject to all three fields of expertise of the Region of Attica: Creative Economy, Blue Economy and Sustainable Economy.

Parents’ School
